Greenwich is a lovely area in southeast London, and has been our home for 9 years. We both studied at the University of Greenwich and met in the very first few weeks of our first year.

If you fancy making a trip of it, Greenwich has a mix of beautiful parks, great food, interesting museums, and historic sites. You can explore the Royal Observatory, the National Maritime Museum, or relax in Greenwich Park. You can also pop to Greenwich Market which has lots of shops and food stalls. We might be biased but it is our favourite part of London.

We have many recommendations on things to do, see and eat, please just ask. We hope you love the area just as much as we do.

  • There is a carpark called Park Row which is one minute from the venue. However, you do have to pay and it is likely to be busy so if you are staying in Greenwich, we would recommend getting a taxi from the hotel or using public transport.

  • We recommend pre-booking a taxi or uber closer to the time to ensure you arrive on time, you can also arrange to carpool with other party members. There is also the local bus service that will be running frequently.

  • If you’re travelling to the venue or to Greenwich, the best stations are either Cutty Sark for DLR, or Greenwich for Southeastern services.

If you’re travelling to the Double Tree hotel, the closest DLR station is Deptford Bridge, or Greenwich for Southeastern services.

  • We ask for you to dress in smart attire, but ultimately we want our guests to be comfortable. So, whether that’s high heels or Crocs, we’re still happy to see you there!

  • The menu can be found here:
